I do miss your children’s smiley faces, the chats and their laughter. I really do hope you are all taking care of each other. Your health and happiness must always come first.

Dear Parents and Carers,

I just want to check in and let you know we are missing you. We hope you are doing ok. Please remember that we want your children to be as ok as possible in this very difficult time and managing working from home and home schooling together can be hard. Please just do as much as you can. It’s also important that you are all ok and you are all keeping safe and happy. We will not be sending work home over the Easter holidays. We ask that your child completes their holiday project then as normal.

We would like to create class time capsules during this time. Your teachers will contact a family each day and ask for them to email a photo and some words about what your child is up to and how they are remaining positive. This photo does not have to be your child sitting at their desk. It could be learning a dance, being in the garden, cooking, any activity. We will then collate these in a class book when we return to school. If you are unable to do this please let me or your class teacher know. We will start on Monday.

I do miss your children’s smiley faces, the chats and their laughter. I really do hope you are all taking care of each other. Your health and happiness must always come first.

We are here if you need us. Keep in touch.

Best wishes

Jessica
