No 405, Friday 8th February 2019

Dear Parents and Carers,

We were visited by our School Improvement Partner,
Hilary Ryan, from Hackney this week. She commented
on how hard the children work, how dedicated they are
to their learning and how well they are doing. She
complimented us on our Early Year’s outdoor areas
and how engaged the children were. When we visited
the class, the class ambassadors were articulate and
clearly explained what their class was learning. It was
impressive. She also commented on the high
expectations of the staff and the wide range of activities
we offer as a school. It was lovely to hear such positive
news about our school and it only makes us prouder.
We are lucky to have a dedicated and hard working
staff team and it is also a privilege to work with you
and your children. Well done Betty Layward. We will
always continue to strive to do our best.
Thank you to those of you who attended the PTFA
meeting this week. There are a lot of exciting events
coming up, the next one being the jumble sale. If you
are able to help please see your class rep. I am looking
forward to it. Donations will be needed soon so please
get sorting.
We will be sending home more information about
Project Playground next week. This is a really exciting
project and one the school feels very passionate about.
We really hope you will help us with fundraising so we
can make it happen.
We are increasing our stock of school uniform and Max
will soon be taking orders in the morning and then you
will be able to pick the items up in the afternoon. I do
hope selling uniform at school is making life a little
Have a lovely weekend
