No 359, Friday 10th November 2017
Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you so much for attending Parents evening yesterday. It was great to see so many of you there. I also hope you enjoyed the school lunch tastings.
It is Children in Need next Friday so we are asking the children to wear their own clothes and bring in a voluntary amount for the charity. Thank you for supporting us with this good cause.
There are some dates I wanted to let you know/ remind you about as they will be here very quickly.
On Friday 1st December please could the children come to school in their own clothes and bring in donation for the Winter Fair. This could be anything suitable for our tombola or Kids-only zone, second-hand items in great condition e.g. tin of biscuits, unopened toiletries or gift sets, jewellery, scarves, etc.
Our family Carol Concert is on Thursday 14th December at school at 6pm. This will be a lovely opportunity to sing carols altogether. More details to follow.
The EYFS and Reception Christmas Nativity will be on the following dates:
Nursery Parents and Carers – Thursday 14th December at 11.30am;
Reception Parents and Carers – Wednesday 13th December at 2pm;
Year 1 Parents and Carers – Wednesday 13th December at 9.30am.
The Year 2 to Year 6 Concert is on Monday 18th December at 2pm.
We hope we will see you there.
We have been talking to the Hackney Gazette about our Betty Layward Day; we hope an article will be in the paper on Thursday. Please look out.
There have been a couple of incidents this week with dogs jumping up at children outside school. I just wanted to make you aware of this as some children are very anxious around dogs.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
