Dear Parents and Carers,

What a busy week we have had.

The Eid Celebration was a great success. It was lovely to see so many people there. We would like to say a special thank you to Ulku and the parents for their support and contributions of delicious food; the PTFA for supporting the celebration and for donating food, drinks and presents and to all the staff who helped and everyone who attended.

On Thursday 30 children from Year 5 who had undertaken cycle training took part in the Bike around the Borough. Thank you to Andy, Anna, Leda, Bibi and Peter for leading our cyclists. They had a great time.

Sports day was a great success. I loved it. We were lucky with the weather. The children had a fab time. Thanks for supporting us and for cheering everyone on. It was also great to see you participating in the adult races. Thanks to Salwa and Simon for organising such a great day.

We are looking forward to the Summer Fair tomorrow and hope to see many of you there. The PTFA have done an amazing job organising this. They continuously impress me. There are many exciting things happening and the raffle prizes are definitely worth buying tickets for. Thanks in advance if you are helping or supporting the event.

The 20p challenge was a great success. We raised £1056.83 in total. Very impressive! Fuchsia class won the £20 for raising £104.57 and are still choosing what to buy. Thank you for supporting us with this. Every little bit helps.

We currently have some places available in our Nursery for September. If you know anyone who would like their child to attend please let us know. There are options of full time and part time places. Please spread the word.

Thanks again for all your support with school events this week. The school is lucky to have such supportive parents and carers.

We look forward to seeing you at Blastonbury next Friday.

Best wishes
