No 343, Friday 5th May 2017

Dear Parents and Carers,

We hope you enjoyed the May bank holiday.

It was great to see so many of you at the Jumble Sale on Saturday. I was so impressed with how many volunteers there were. Thank you so much for all your time and support. It is much appreciated. I really enjoyed it. Thank you PTFA and parents/carers. You are amazing and the school is lucky to have you.

Ocean class held their first class assembly yesterday and what a great class assembly it was. The children were loud and clear and really enjoyed themselves. Well done Ocean class, we are very proud of you.

Please can I remind you not to drop your child off at the gates in the morning (unless they are allowed to walk to school on their own). If you are late please bring them to the office where you will need to sign them in, otherwise please take them to the playground or classroom. Thank you.

Thank you for supporting the PTFA 20p day. The children are already very enthusiastic about collecting 20ps. This is a great fundraising event and it is important the children can learn they can fundraise too. We are asking the children to bring their 20ps in on Tuesday 27th June. Thank you for supporting us with this.

We currently have a sickness bug making its rounds at the moment. Please can I remind you that we ask that your child does not return back to school for 48 hours since the last time they were either sick or had diarrhoea. This is the only way to prevent it from spreading. Thank you.

Have a lovely weekend.

Best wishes,
