Dear Parents and Carers,
Happy New Year. I hope you all had a lovely holiday. Thank you for your kind gifts and cards. We have had a great start to the year. We set our New Year intentions in assembly on Tuesday. The children have come back happy and hard working and it’s lovely to see them.
We hope to get the dates for this term out to you soon so you can book the dates in your diary.
We have already had nits in school this week. Please remember to check your children’s hair and treat as quickly as possible so we can keep them at bay. Thanks.
Your attendance information is being given to you today. This includes information on punctuality as well. It is really important that the children are dropped off at school on time and picked up on time. It can upset them if they are not. We are also closing the morning gate promptly and asking parents to sign their children in if they are late. We would love no lates.
Well done to Simon and our football teams on Thursday. Our girl’s team did so well they are through to the next round and are representing Hackney tomorrow. Great work. We are very proud.
Apologies, on your last date letter we had put Grandparent week for the week starting 14/01/19. Sorry for repeating the date. If you have any grandparents for that week we would be happy to welcome them. Please let your class teacher know.
I hope your 2019 is filled with happiness and joy. I am looking forward to continuing to work with you all.
Have a lovely weekend.
