From the Headteacher…
No 393, Friday 2nd November 2018
Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you had a lovely half term. It was lovely to see everyone back. We have a busy term ahead so I hope you have all the dates in your diary.
The Tate came and took photos of our Year 3 children for the Steve McQueen Tate Year 3 Project. We are really looking forward to this.
There is a lot going on next week with Grandparent’s week, Wow day and Parents evening (I am attaching the information about how to book a meeting with your child’s classteacher). Please remember that the school will be closing at 1.45pm on Parents Evening on Thursday 8th November. I hope you have also booked your child’s Grandparent in with their class teacher. They can read a story, discuss their own memories or something else of interest to them. We are so looking forward to seeing them. Wow day is on Monday. You should have been informed if your class is dressing up. Parents evening is on Thursday and we are looking forward to seeing you there. Please ensure you have booked an appointment and we do recommend your child is with you when you meet the teacher.
Please remember that we are recognising anti bullying week on Monday 12th November by wearing odd socks. We will be raising money for the charity Anti Bullying Alliance so please bring your voluntary donations in.
Please can you remind your children that they are not allowed to bring any toys, cards, lip salves or any other items to school.
Thank you for your harvest donations. They were gratefully received.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
