Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you have all had a good week. We have. Thanks to those of you who attended the PTFA meetings. It was great to see so many of you there. We are making progress with Project Playground and more information will follow. We need to raise the funds and are looking at putting together a fundraising group. All very exciting.
Last week Ellis and Mike Layward visited us (photographs on opposite page). The Layward family gave us money for six benches which you will see around the school. It was a very kind and generous gift so a massive thank you to the Laywards. It was also lovely to see Ellis and Mike. Each bench has a plaque on it to commemorate Betty’s 100th Birthday.
Well done Chilli class for such a fabulous first class assembly. It was lovely to see all the great work the children have been doing with War Child and the school in Iraq. We are very proud to be part of this project and Chilli class were able to tell us all about it. Great work Chilli class. Well done.
Please can I remind you that if a child has sickness or diarrhoea. They need to remain off school for 48 hours since the last bout. This is very important as it stops germs being spread around school. Thank you for supporting us with this. It really does make an difference.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend
