No 389, Friday 28th September 2018

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have had a lovely week. The sun has shone and
the children have been smiling. They have settled
well into the school routine beautifully.
Just a few reminders- we are a no nut school.
Please ensure the children have no nuts in their
packed lunches. This also includes pesto. Please
also remind your child not to bring any medicines,
cough sweets, lip balms, toys or items into school.
Thank you for supporting us with this.
We will be discussing and learning about bullying
in Anti-Bullying Week from 12th – 16th November.
On Monday 12th November we will be asking
children to wear odd socks and make donations to
the Anti-Bullying Alliance. It is important that
children understand that bullying is not acceptable
and how to talk if needed. We will also be looking
at how we can behave positively, be kind and be a
good friend, especially as that is what our children
are very good at.
It’s Harvest soon and we will be having a Harvest
assembly presented by Dilly Baker the Reverend
of St Mary’s Church in Stoke Newington on
Wednesday 10th October. We will be asking for
donations as well which will be going to a Hackney
Foodbank. This includes all varieties of canned
food, pasta, rice, shampoo, soap, toothpaste,
disposable nappies. All items must have labels and
must be sealed.
I hope you have a very lovely weekend.
