Dear Parents and Carers,
What a great first full week. All the children have settled into their new classes really well. Visiting the Reception classes and Nursery are a pleasure. Reception have settled in incredibly well and are now full time. The Nursery children come in with confidence and are happy choosing different activities. It’s like they have been with us forever and we are thrilled. Any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
Our Learn to Live Campaign with War Child is going really well. I hope you saw it in the Evening Standard. We are very honoured to be doing this and the children are really enjoying it.
As you may have heard we have new loos. They are so much better than before. Children should feel happy using school loos and we hope they do now. We are asking them to be responsible and to help look after them. So far, so good. We also have new hall, corridor and stairwell flooring. This has really improved the look of the school.
If your child attends an After School Club, you can provide them with a piece of fruit if you wish. We encourage all children to bring in a water bottle every day.
As you know Sharon is leaving us today. We are very sad about this as Sharon has been a big part of this school for a very long time. We will miss her dearly. Sharon has moved house and her journey is just too far. She did try. I appreciate this is short notice but if you wish to make a donation we will continue to collect them next week. I am sure you will join us in wishing her all the best.

Have a fabulous weekend.
