Dear Parents and Carers
We have had a really busy and a great time this week.
All the children went to the cinema for Spanish Celebration Week. It was great. The children really enjoyed it.
Year 5 sang at the Round Chapel and they were a credit to the school. They also participated in Bike Around the Borough and had a great day. Well done Year 5.
Thank you for attending and supporting Sports Day today. What a great day. I really enjoy seeing the children participate and enjoying themselves and the parent’s races are always a treat too. Thank you for supporting this event.
Well done to all the children for our 20p day. We raised £1109.85. The children did a fantastic job collecting 20ps. Well done Buttercup class who raised £153.07p. An amazing result. They won £20 to spend on their class as they choose. As a few classes did really well we gave any class who had raised over £100 an extra playtime. They were thrilled. Thanks so much for helping us with this. All money raised goes to the school and towards extra activities and resources for the children.
I’m looking forward to the Summer Fair tomorrow. I look forward to seeing you there. Thank you to the organisers, helpers and everyone involved. The school really appreciates all your support. We finally have a new date for the tipi installation. I wanted to make sure it happened before our Year 6 children left. It (fingers crossed) will be being installed on 9th July. The children will be able to see it being built. We are really looking forward to seeing it.
Please remember to start booking your Parents’ Evening meetings next Tuesday after 5pm – details on on page 2 of this newsletter. Parents’ Evening will be taking place on Thursday 12th July.
Have a lovely sunny weekend and see you at the fair.
