No 371, Friday 2nd March 2018

Dear Parents and Carers,

What a cold and snowy week. It was a delight to watch the children play in the snow and enjoy it so much. It’s been cold and windy too but that has not stopped us having a good week. Terry has been doing a marvellous job clearing. We also had an accidental fire drill. The children were amazing lining up outside. We did not keep them out there for long!

Chilli class assembly on World Book Day was excellent. They taught us about different authors and how important it is to ‘write’. The children were great – had learnt a lot of lines and performed some fab singing and dancing. It was a lovely assembly. Well done Chilli class.

As you know we postponed World Book Day due to the weather. It is now on Friday 9th March. I look forward to seeing all the costumes. Thank you for supporting up with this. We will also mix up the classes on this day too. We know the children have been really looking forward to this.

Please remember the jumble sale at school on Saturday 17th March. I look forward to seeing you there.

Have a lovely weekend. Keep warm.
