No 369, Friday 9th February 2018

Dear Parents and Carers,

What a great term we have had. This week has been busy. Thanks to Lavender class for their lovely assembly. I learnt a lot and well done for learning all your lines. Good work Lavender class.

Thanks to all the parents and carers who came to the PTFA meetings yesterday. It was great to see you there. Thank you for supporting the school and for fundraising. It really does make a difference.

Please remember the closing date for 500 words is 22nd February. Half term is a good time to upload the stories. We could have a winner in our midst.

We sent out a letter about becoming a parent governor this week. It is a voluntary role but also a very rewarding one. It is an opportunity to support this school with its school development. The commitment is to attend meetings (termly) and to spend some occasional time in school. We value any time or support and if you have any questions about this role please come and see me.

The Variety show is coming up in March so please ask your child of they would like to participate. We will be asking for new entries this year so if you were in it last year please do not apply for this one. We will be doing a sign up after half term and then will draw names from a hat. We are really looking forward to it. We would also like a few parents or carers to help us with refreshments. Please let me know if you can. More information to follow.

Thank you for your support this term. I hope you have a very happy half term.

Best wishes,
