Dear Parents and Carers,
This term is going so fast. I can’t believe February is next week.
Well done Year 2 Apricot class. I heard they performed a great assembly this week. I was so sorry to miss it but I heard how wonderful it was. I heard how loudly the children spoke and how much they had learnt. Great work Apricot class.
Thank you for all the project homeworks. They really are fantastic. I love walking around and seeing them all.
We had a visit from our School Improvement Partner this week. She is from the Hackney Learning Trust and comes in to look at the school and how well we are doing. She was impressed by the children’s focus and engagement while learning and how enthusiastic they are. She was also very pleased with the progress they are making. We are very proud of our school but it is also nice for someone else to come in and recognise the children’s and staff’s hard work. Well done everyone.
For parents of children who are learning a musical instrument, please remember our Instrumental Concert on Thursday February 1st at 2.15pm.
It has been lovely seeing the children writing their 500 word stories this week. I am so impressed with their creativity and enthusiasm. We have some great writers. Well done everyone.
The new lunch menu has started well. The children are enjoying it and we are encouraging them to try new foods.
Please can I remind you not to bring your dog on the school site or tie them up at the entrance. We have some children who are very scared of dogs.
I hope you have a lovely weekend.
