Dear Parents and Carers,

What a hot and sunny week.

The children have continued to work hard even though it’s been so hot. We encourage them to bring a hat in sunny weather.

The Year 6 have loved their PGL trip. They have been kept busy with a wide range of fun activities. I imagine they will be exhausted this weekend. A big thank you to all the staff who went with them. Sounds like they had a great time too.

Aqua class performed their assembly on Thursday. They were all superheroes and had made up fantastic names. All the children were enthusiastic and happy. Well done Aqua class.

Zoolab came to visit the school this week. They bought cockroaches, snakes, spiders amongst other creatures. The children loved it and were keen to hold them. Well done to all the children who did. Great work.

We can only have prescribed medication in school. We cannot have over the counter medicines. A care plan has to be written by the school nurse. If you think your child requires prescribed medication in school please come and see us.

It’s 20p day on Tuesday 27th June. We will be counting the amount of 20ps each class has raised and rewarding the class who has raised the most. Thank you for supporting us with this. It all really helps.

We look forward to seeing you next week at our Eid celebration and sports day.

Have a lovely weekend

Jessica
