No 345, Friday 19th May 2017

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have not let the rain get us down this week. It’s been a good and busy week.

I talked to the children about the budget cuts and how I won’t let it impact on their education and school life. Thank you for supporting the school with this.

I am always impressed with the attitude of our children. They really want to do their best. I spent time in Year 2 this week and was very proud of their perseverance. They also love learning. You can’t ask for more than that.

I taught Ruby class Science this week and we had some great conversations about the digestive system. They were lovely to spend time with and will be a credit to their new secondary schools.

We break up next Thursday so this is the last newsletter before half term. We look forward to seeing you after the holidays on Monday 5th June. I’m really looking forward to next term.

I hope you have the dates in your diary for all the events coming up – Sports Day, Blastonbury, Summer Fair and the BBQ. Lots of exciting things to look forward to.

I hope the sun shines this weekend and you have a lovely half term.

Jessica
