Dear Parents and Carers,
We’ve had a busy week starting with our WOW day on Monday. The children really enjoyed the day and thanks for all the great homework projects.
I also wanted to let you know that we are very proud of Year 5. Their behaviour on their trip last week was excellent and I was thrilled to hear that they had such a great time. Both classes received star of the week today due to their hard work, their excellent behaviour and enthusiasm. I have seen some brilliant photos of children attempting new and exciting activities. Well done Year 5. A big thank you to all the staff who went too. Without them these trips would not be possible.
Thank you to all of you who attended our SATS and phonics meetings. This is a busy time for the children but we also ensure it is enjoyable and fun for them too. We don’t want them to feel worried or anxious and we want it to feel like any other school day. If you have any questions please come and ask.
If you are late to school (which I’m sure you won’t be) we are asking you to sign your child in on the signing in system. This is an excellent way of recording your child’s attendance and what time they arrive. Thank you for supporting us with this.
I would like to say a big thank you to the PTFA for organising the jumble sale. I’m really looking forward to it. I hope to see lots of you there tomorrow. Thanks for all your donations and thanks to everyone who has helped organise it, set it up and run it. All help is very much appreciated.
I hope you have a lovely bank holiday weekend.
