No 341, Friday 21st April 2017

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome back. We hope you had a lovely holiday. It’s great to see all the children back full of energy and enthusiasm. It’s great to have the sun shining as well this week. We are really looking forward to a busy and exciting term with a lot going on. I am looking forward to my first Summer term at Betty Layward and I can’t believe how quickly time is going.

Year 5 have been away on their residential in Kent and have had a fantastic time. They enjoyed a range of fun activities as well as camp fires and other entertainment. They sound like they have had a great time and it was a very successful trip.

Thank you for your patience with our new gates. They will be opened at 3pm to avoid congestion. A sign was ordered before the holidays and hopefully will be here soon.

A neighbour contacted the school and asked us to ask the children not to run through the gardens on Clissold rd. Please could you be mindful of this as a few plants have been damaged. Thank you.

Have a lovely weekend, I hope the sunshine continues.
