10 Mar From the Headteacher…
Friday 10th March 2017
No 338, Friday 10th March 2017
Dear Parents and Carers,
We had a fantastic start to the week this week with a child led assembly on Women’s Rights and International Women’s Day. The children did a fantastic job presenting it to the whole school. The power point they created is on our website if you would like to have a look. Well done Billy, Rosa, Isla and Florence.
Saffron class also performed an excellent assembly on space this week. They spoke in loud clear voices and made the topic of space interesting and entertaining. Well done Saffron class.
Apologies, the date for Comic Relief is Friday 24th march, not 17th March, so we ask if the children could wear something red on that day. Thank you for supporting us with this.
If someone else is picking your child up from school please ensure you inform us. We will not let children go home with anyone without prior consent, even if it is someone we or your child know. If it is someone who is picking up on a regular basis please let us know by emailing or writing a letter.
We look forward to seeing you at Parent’s Evening on Thursday. Your child is welcome to come and meet their teacher with you. This gives them an opportunity to join the conversation about their learning.
Thank you to the parents who attended the Dyslexia Parent Coffee morning on Tuesday; we will be holding another coffee morning with our Educational Psychologist later in the year.
Thank you also to those of you who attended the PTFA meetings yesterday. It was great to see some new faces. Thanks for all your support in raising money for the school.
Have a great weekend. I hope the sun continues to shine.
